Alright, I have to admit, the Republican Andrew Yang made me laugh. Also, "Pence shouldn't be running" is a sensible, bipartisan opinion, one of the few things all people can agree on, and yet, there he is.
I have to admit, if I had never heard comments of this caliber in person before I would swear you’re making them up. Sadly I hear this sort of thing everywhere in my town.
The weird thing is knowing most of these people usually don’t act this dumb. I’ve known extremely smart and kind folk who’d help you out no questions asked but will proclaim the nuttiest things as if they’re as obvious as the color of the sky. It’s like Jekyll and Hyde if Hyde only came out at the mention of the economy. American politics are just sheer poison to the soul.
I know. There's something akin to "confident ignorance" underscoring all of these comments. I've heard many similar before, just not like this, so concentrated bc of an actual event. I fear it'll get worse before it gets better.

Every single comment here is similar to a comment I have heard in one of my local community groups. It's so hard to not be disappointed.
