I lean towards Biden stepping down, but then that’s where it gets really risky. But then these are risky times.
I wonder if some of the dislike of Harris, is because she is black, for she is very smart and capable of doing the job. Perhaps Joe could get her out there a lot with him as a team and on her own so people can get to know her better and then drop out in a few months and nominate her.
Or they could go full bore, if he drops out soon and pick Whitmer (my personal favorite) or someone else. Whoever else they might pick (unless it’s Michele Obama) might hurt the black vote with the appearance of slighting Harris.
Whoever it is must be aggressive enough and fiery, but intelligent enough in speech, to stand out. Has to be someone younger and savvy. Pete Buttigieg is too calm and nice and there are the homophobes. I also like Katy Porter, but no one knows who she is. She could dish it out really well.
But I must admit, no matter who it is, including Biden, will not stand much of a chance unless trump goes so bonkers in the next few months and starts to really show his psychotic insanity in the extreme, will have a poor chance of winning. Trump, the republicans, the Supreme Court, and Fox and Newsmax are totally responsible for destroying this country by conning the mentally vulnerable and gullible through racism, religious extremism and lie after lie on a daily basis.
I fear I’m too old to ever see this country right itself and be the hope that it once had and was striving for. It is very sad indeed.

What happened to the Biden /1 term Presidency promise to get us out of the trump and Covid mess? I thought Biden was on the decline 2019/2020 but I voted for him. The DNC had 3 years to find another guy and they blew it....big time! I don't think I will ever go back to the Dem tribe.
