Yeah, that's a tough one for me. It contains probably one of the single best scenes of the century so far (that long tracking shot near the end), but it just drags and meanders at times. It was on my list when I started and I just couldn't bring myself to include it. It's not that its bad, but for me at least the reputation isn't congruent with how I feel towards it. I certainly wouldn't criticize anyone who put it on their's--its worthy of it.
I toyed with putting The Witch or Midsommar on here but couldn't decide which ones to leave off. Hereditary deserves it too and is probably the most unnerving film I've seen in this time.
Horror, to me, is perhaps the one genre that probably best displays the human condition 😂 and I’m not being cynical or nihilistic about that; horror makes us confront, via metaphor, the challenges we face.
Excellent list. The only major addition I would make is Children of Men.

Excellent choices, all. However, I’m a Horror nut, so I’d throw Hereditary in there somewhere.

Also, if f you love docs, check out Adam Curtis.
Ooooh, the Witch! Another great one.

I’d also add revenge of the sith, rouge one, Man of Steel, Black Widow.
