When you’re so devoted to worshipping firearms that you’d rather believe mass shooters with various backgrounds and motivations are agents of the government than risk having to give up 1 of your 300 guns.

I’ll be honest, guns do fascinate me. The engineering work behind them gives an insight into design and history you can’t usually find in regular books. But in the end it’s still just a machine. What’s the point of having fifteen different AR models in your house? I’ve known tradcats who owned less religious iconography than some people own guns. They’re not even collectors, it’s just something they do because they can and screw you for trying to stop him.

Reminds me of a LotR quote. “I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend”. Given that the gun cultist only cares for defending himself, they’re probably the most selfish people around.
